Emil Maslarski, technician turned entrepreneur all along. During the years, from 1994, he founded several start-ups within the sectors of import-export, sales, and distribution, dealing mainly with partner- firms from Japan, Holland, and Eastern Europe. Since young age Emil has passion for cars, not only for the driving experience, but also related to the engineering, design, power, and the art of automobiles.

Exploring each opportunity, he discovered the potential of recycling industry in Europe and worked as supplier of auto-catalyst for Johnson Matthey in Bulgaria. With establishing ReCat in 2008 Emil strikes a balance of his passion for cars coupled with his appreciation for nature. As a vivid mountaineer and outdoors-lover this business runs a wining-do-good formula.

The business of auto-catalyst selection and recycling is specific and involves highly technical approach, complex analysis, and challenging evaluation. Material

ReCat FZE purchase used auto catalytic converters (ceramic and metallic). Both core types are designed to provide a large surface area to support the catalyst wash-coat.

Info

Eugene Houdry was the French mechanical engineer who invented the catalytic converter. In addition to automobiles, catalytic converter is used in locomotives, buses, trucks, mining equipment, electrical generators, motorcycles and forklift.
